Level^Up – Breakdance/Parkour (Ages 4-5yrs.)

This class combines two high-energy activity styles with an emphasis on safety and strength building. Students will learn creativity of movement through freestyle, practice foundational breakdancing techniques together to form an expression, as well as parkour, also known as freerunning, which is the art and sport of gracefully and stylistically tumbling around to overcome obstacles.

Level^Up – Breakdance/Parkour (Ages 6-7yrs.)

This class combines two high-energy activity styles with an emphasis on safety and strength building. Each session begins with building on foundational breakdancing techniques to build strength and control, and goes on encouraging creativity through freestyle dancing, followed by circuits in parkour, training students in gracefully and stylistically overcoming obstacles in their path. Students are encouraged to incorporate techniques learned in and outside of the class into their freestyle movements in both the breakdancing and the parkour disciplines.

Level^Up – Breakdance/Parkour (Ages 8-12yrs.)

This class combines two high-energy activity styles with an emphasis on safety and strength building. Students will focus on learning foundational to intermediate level breakdance techniques while encouraging further exploration of individual style, creativity, and freedom in their own freestyle dancing. Basic gymnastic and breakdancing techniques along with calisthenics are used for strength building, followed by circuits in parkour, training students in gracefully and stylistically overcoming obstacles in their path. Kids are encouraged to expand their range of techniques throughout the course of the semester.


WHAT TO WEAR

  • Work out clothes that allow full range of motion
  • Shoes: Sweet kicks! (Lol any sneakers will work 😉 )
  • Hair: Pulled back out of your face (If needed)
